Located in Nalati Grassland, Xinjiang, this large-scale luxury glamping tent project features 63 Libra luxury hotel tents designed for year-round commercial operation in a demanding alpine environment.
With intense sunlight, strong winds, dry conditions and significant day-night temperature variations, the project required more than an attractive accommodation structure—it required a climate-adapted solution balancing durability, thermal comfort and panoramic views. The Libra tents feature a four-layer roof system with a PVDF outer membrane for UV and solar protection, PVC base material, thermal insulation and a flexible inner liner. The split-roof structure helps distribute wind pressure, while insulated wall panels reduce heat transfer between the interior and exterior. Full-height glass facades create uninterrupted views of the grassland and surrounding mountains. Beyond accommodation, the standardized yet customizable system can be adapted for dining, reception, entertainment and other hospitality functions.
